New Dover Jacket

Introducing the New Dover Jacket - an updated version of our classic jacket pattern that now includes a car coat length option, as well as a longer 3/4 sleeve and expanded sizing to accommodate a wider range of body types. This jacket is a versatile addition to your wardrobe that can be dressed up or down, making it perfect for any occasion.

The unlined raglan sleeve jacket comes in two lengths and features a 3/4 sleeve and 3 button closure. View A is hip length, while View B is mid-thigh length and includes patch pockets, which are both practical and stylish.

The New Dover Jacket is available in sizes 4-18, making it accessible to a wide range of body shapes and sizes. The friendly instructions include step-by-step instructions with stitching lines printed in red for clarity, making it a perfect first jacket project for beginner to intermediate sewists.

For the best results, we recommend using a light to medium weight fabric such as Linen, lightweight denim, lightweight wool or raw silk.

With the New Dover Jacket, you can create a stylish and functional addition to your wardrobe that will stand the test of time.

The pattern is printed on A0 sheets and sent in a cellophane packet. You then have a choice with the instructions, you can either have them printed and sent with the pattern for £2.00 extra or you can have them sent via email for no extra charge.
