The Raspberry Cover-Up is designed to be worn over a bathing suit as a beach/pool cover-up, or in daily wear over slimmer fitting garments to create a complete outfit. Lengths include slightly cropped shirt, knee or full length. It closes in the front with either one or two ties. Make it sleeveless, or use the elbow length bell sleeves (with or with out ruffles) to give it a more flowing look. The slight high-low hem features a clean mitered corner finish at the front opening of the garment, or choose to add a hem ruffle (available on only the knee and full length versions).

Recommended Fabrics:

MAIN FABRIC:
Light weight woven fabrics such as some rayons, tencels, linens, viscose, chiffon, double gauze, etc.

FACING FABRIC:
Light weight woven fabrics with some structure such as some rayons, tencels, linens, viscose, chiffon, etc.
NOTE: If using a very light weight fabric (example: chiffon) any bias trim used should be a similar weight.

Notions:

-1/4” elastic
- small strip of tricot interfacing (optional for less structured fabrics such as double gauze).

You can choose to receive the pattern in two different ways.

1. Printed Pattern with PDF Instructions - This pattern will be printed and dispatched to you once you have placed your order. It will contain the A0 Pages for the pattern and it will be dispatched in a clear polythene cover to keep it safe. You will be able to download the instructions file as a PDF at the end of the transaction.

2. Printed Pattern with Printed Instructions - For £2.00 more we will print the A0 Pattern pages and the A4 instructions for you and they will be dispatched in a clear polythene cover to keep it safe.
All of our printed patterns are sent via Royal Mail 1st class post.

Pattern Options

The pattern is printed on A0 sheets and sent in a cellophane packet. You then have a choice with the instructions, you can either have them printed and sent with the pattern for £2.00 extra or you can have them sent via email for no extra charge.

All of our printed patterns are sent via Royal Mail 48.
